The Comfort Plus XL sliding system is the reinforced version of our Comfort Plus range, designed for projects calling for very large leaves: contemporary villas, lofts, restaurants or showrooms. Its widened profiles carry heavier glass units and bay dimensions well beyond a standard sliding system, with no compromise on smooth operation.
Slim sightlines for maximum transparency
The aim of this range is to reduce the visual presence of the aluminium as far as possible, to let the light in. The frames and sashes are profiled to release a generous glass daylight opening, giving an impression of total openness between inside and out — an effect particularly sought after on elevations facing a garden, pool or terrace.
Weathertightness and comfort delivered
Despite its large format, the Comfort Plus XL retains the air and water tightness standards of the Comfort Plus range, thanks to continuous perimeter seals and robust running tracks fitted with reinforced rollers. The system can take high-performance double glazing to meet the thermal and acoustic requirements of premium residential projects.
Which projects is it for?
This XL sliding system suits openings over 3 metres wide, through-lounges and projects where the view must stay clear. Oscar Aluminium supports fabricators in sizing the leaves and choosing the glazing suited to each site configuration.
