A reinforced roller shutter for extreme conditions

The cyclone-resistant aluminium roller shutter is designed to meet the needs of projects located in areas particularly exposed to wind, whether coastal buildings or high-altitude construction subject to strong gusts. Its reinforced slats and specific guiding system allow it to withstand forces well beyond those of a traditional roller shutter.

Slats engineered for resistance

The Oscar Aluminium roller shutter range offers several slat profiles, including curved and flat foam-filled slats, filled with polyurethane foam that improves both the mechanical rigidity and the thermal and acoustic insulation of the shutter. On the cyclone-resistant version, these slats are paired with reinforced guide rails that limit dislodging under strong wind pressure.

Additional protection against intrusion

Beyond its wind resistance, the cyclone-resistant roller shutter brings extra protection against attempted intrusion through openings, thanks to the rigidity of its slats and the strength of its locking system in the closed position. It is a valued argument for ground floors and the most accessible openings in a building.

Manual or motorised, as required

The cyclone-resistant roller shutter can be operated manually by strap or crank system, or motorised using the range of Bosch Rexroth tubular motors distributed by Oscar Aluminium.
